“I Will Lift Up My Head” Available to Radio NOW!

September 2, 2009 (Nashville, TN) – RSI Music Group is releasing the first single from the newest album, I Will Sing, by highly acclaimed solo artist and studio musician, Gordon Mote, to radio.  The song, “I Will Lift Up My Head,” an upbeat gospel bluegrass tune, is written by the adored, late Dottie Rambo, and features multi-award winning artist, The Isaacs, on background vocals.

“I Will Lift Up My Head” is currently available to all stations in MP3 format and will be featured on SCM disc #11, by TS Promotions.  “I am elated to be working with Gordon again,” says President of TS Promotions, Theresa Dillard. “His enormous talent, passion for the Gospel, and true entertainer personality makes promoting his music a joy.  This song is sure to be a hit!”

I Will Sing has been years in the making.  Gordon and his manager, RSI Music Group founder Bob Rodgers, began working on the project in December of 2007. The album is mixed by Ben Fowler and co-produced by Phil Johnson, who has worked with Gordon on previous projects.  The album is endorsed by Pastor and Author, Dr. David Jeremiah and Gospel Artist and Comedian, Mark Lowry.

Recently recognized by both Music Row Magazine and the Academy of Country Music as the Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year for 2009, this summer, Gordon has maintained a busy schedule, recording with major country artists such as Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and Josh Turner, as well as recording the new Gaither Vocal Band album and video.

Gordon continued to tour with his solo projects as well. Early last month, Gordon, wife Kimberly, and two of their children traveled to Europe, where Gordon performed five solo concerts in Norway and just days after returning to the States, Gordon departed on the Gaither Alaskan Cruise.

I Will Sing is not yet available in retail stores but can now be purchased at the online stores of Gordon and RSI Music Group’s websites.  In addition to The Isaacs, I Will Sing features special appearances from Charlotte Ritchie and Kimberly Mote.
